November is Transgender Awareness Month, a time to honor, celebrate, and advocate for the transgender and gender diverse community.

Recorded instances of violence and discrimination against the transgender community are startling high. People of color, particularly trans women of color, are disproportionately affected by this violent hate. As a leader in LGBTQIA+ health care and advocacy, Fenway Health compiled key facts and statistics to educate the broader community on these issues.

This complex and emotionally weighty topic needed to be presented in a way that is engaging and informative but not overwhelming. Traditional infographics are large scale and not ideal for viewing on the smaller screens of mobile devices. I opted to separate the information into small sections that could be read quickly while scrolling on social media. Each image features the same color palette and design elements to create a cohesive group.
