I was that kid who was always bouncing between twelve or so projects at any given moment. Now as a (slightly) older kid, I still live and breathe to make things. I am driven not only by an inner desire to create but by the belief that design has the power to change perspective and create a kinder, more sustainable world.

My approach to design is grounded in a social science framework and my process begins with careful consideration of the human and social context. Design does not and cannot exist in a vacuum and I believe it is essential that people be at the core of any design solution. In particular, it is vital that design accommodates the incredible diversity of the world today and acts to support underrepresented perspectives. Our role as designers is to embrace the fact that we don’t have all the answers and to seek out the information we need to develop a comprehensive solution.

My comfort in managing multiple projects simultaneously allows me to be flexible and adapt quickly to solve issues as they arise. I enjoy learning new tools and I’m currently focused on digging into After Effects and exploring animated graphics. I am at my happiest when I have a complex and meaningful context to explore. I want to work with people and organizations that see what the world could be and are working to make that vision a reality.
